What is Klarna?

Klarna is a 'buy now pay later' payment method you can use where you're able to choose how you pay and spread the cost of your order over multiple instalments.

Klarna is an independent payment provider and Coes have no influence over whether your payment will be accepted or not.

Who can use Klarna?

Customers:

• aged 18 years or over.
• with a UK billing address.
• with a valid email address and UK mobile number.
• who have a positive credit history.
• who have a valid bank card/bank account.

When can Klarna be used to place an order?

• When placing an order in GBP on our website.
• Please note, you are unable to buy Coes Gift Cards using Klarna.

How do you pay with Klarna?

• At checkout, select the Klarna option.
• You'll be redirected to the Klarna website.
• Existing Klarna users will be asked to log in.
• New Klarna users will be asked to register with an email address and password. Once you've agreed to the terms and registered, you won't need to do it again.

Ways to pay with Klarna

Klarna Pay Now: Pay for your purchase right away. You will be redirected to Klarna’s website to pay for your order. Your preferred payment method is pre-selected for a fast and secure payment.

Klarna Pay in 3: Spread the cost into 3 interest-free instalments, paid automatically every 30 days.* You will be redirected to Klarna's website. Klarna will email your payment schedule to you after you have completed your purchase. You will be charged for the first instalment and then for subsequent instalments according to your payment schedule.

Klarna Pay in 30: Shop now. Pay in up to 30 days with Klarna.* You will be redirected to Klarna’s website to choose when to pay for your order.

*Klarna’s Pay in 3/Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements. Borrowing more than you can afford or paying late may negatively impact your financial status and ability to obtain credit.

Returning an order paid with Klarna

Once we have processed your return in our usual way, Klarna will be notified of the refund amount. Klarna will then make the adjustment to your payment schedule. It can take up to 14 days for refunds to process and the balance of your connected payment method to update.

What happens if a payment is missed or late?

Klarna Pay in 3: If Klarna is unable to collect the payment on the scheduled date, they will try again. If the payment fails, the amount due for the missed payment will be added to the next scheduled payment. Missed payments can incur late fees and be sent to debt collection.

Klarna Pay in 30: You’ll receive a payment reminder if you miss the due date of your Pay in 30 days purchase. Be sure to pay on time to avoid late fees and debt collection.
